This morning each of the classes did something different. Mrs. Decottignies class worked showing numbers and matching numbers to their quantity as well as writing some words. Mrs. Osadec’s class did some more math centres. Sorry I missed what Mrs. Bridles class did but I bet if you asked they could tell you about it!
In the afternoon Mrs Decottignies class did the same activity as her morning group. Mrs. Yacyshyn also did some math centres and they too matched numbers to their quantities. Mrs. Smith’s class worked on writing words and this is a HUGE job! Mrs. Yacyshyn gave a challenge to the afternoon group. They have been asked to find an interesting fact to share about any insect they are interested in. It would be great if they could bring it in over the next few days. We had a fire drill this morning and we did an amazing job of exiting the building. We were so quiet but we need to work on walking a little faster. We are again asking for volunteers! We have a felt artist coming into the classrooms on three different days and she finds that it is best to have volunteers for each classroom. (we are updating as we get volunteers) Mrs. Smith will need 5 volunteers for Thursday the 9th Mrs. Yacyshyn will need 5 volunteers for Thursday the 9th Mrs Bridle will need 5 volunteers for Friday the 17th Mrs Osadec will need 5 volunteers for Friday the 17th Mrs Decottignies needs 4 volunteers for the morning on Thursday the 9th and 4 more on the afternoon of Monday the 13th. PLEASE EMAIL YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HELP OUT. You will still need to have your police clearance to work in the classroom. Reminders: Keep some open time on June 16 for the Kindergarten assemblies. The morning assembly will be at 10:15 and the afternoon assembly at 2:00. Enjoy your evening! The Kinder Team
