Today in Kindergarten we continued to talk about patterns and then we made our 4 of our own in our visual journals. Maybe I can show you how good I am at making them tonight!
In the afternoon we had gym-sic too! On Friday many of the morning classes brought home a Fall scavenger hunt note (Mrs. Decottignies forgot to send her so they will come home tomorrow). Most of the afternoon classes got theirs today. It is just a fun activity for you to do outside and we can take advantage of your collections in the classroom. We will use the items for a variety of things such as crafts, math (counting, patterning and sorting) as well as using them for science observations and experiments. Reminders: There is no school on: Friday, October 7 for a Professional Development day Monday October 10th for the Thanksgiving weekend. School picture day is Thursday October 13th. Please dress your child for the weather. Over the next few weeks we will be heading outside to look at the changes we can see with the change of the seasons. With the weather beginning to change it will be very helpful for your child to begin to practice getting on their winter clothing. Doing up zippers, snapping snaps and putting on hats and mitts is a real difficult task for many of them. Please feel free to add comments to blog but also remember that they are public, so anyone will be able to read them. Have a good night, The Kinder Team

Hi there! Just wondering when you would like the scavenger hunt items - is there a date you would like them for? Couldn't see anything as far as a date?
