AM KINDERGARTEN TOMORROW
This morning Mrs. Decottignies and Mrs. Bridle’s classes did a journal entry, “In Kindergarten I learned…” Mrs. Osadec class worked showing numbers and matching numbers to their quantity! In the afternoon Mrs Decottignies and Mrs. Smith’s class write the journal entry “In Kindergarten I learned…” and Mrs. Yacyshyn wrote words for each letter of the alphabet! Yesterday Mrs. Yacyshyn gave a challenge to the afternoon group. They have been asked to find an interesting fact to share about any insect they are interested in. Today we shared some of the interesting facts we found out: Crickets hear through their legs Grasshoppers ears are on their stomachs Bees flap their wings about 230n times per second, that is what makes the buzzing sound We are again asking for volunteers! We have a felt artist coming into the classrooms on three different days and she finds that it is best to have volunteers for each classroom. (we are updating as we get volunteers) Mrs. Smith will need 3 volunteers for Thursday the 9th Mrs. Yacyshyn will need 3 volunteers for Thursday the 9th Mrs Bridle will need 4 volunteers for Friday the 17th Mrs Osadec will need 4 volunteers for Friday the 17th Mrs Decottignies needs 3 volunteers for the morning on Thursday the 9th and 3 more on the afternoon of Monday the 13th. PLEASE EMAIL YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HELP OUT. You will still need to have your police clearance to work in the classroom. Reminders: Keep some open time on June 16 for the Kindergarten assemblies. The morning assembly will be at 10:15 and the afternoon assembly at 2:00. Enjoy the beautiful weather! K Team
