Tomorrow is PM Kindergarten!
We have been working very hard on our assembly to begin and end each day practicing! The morning classes got to see the Grade 3/4 assembly “It’s a Kid’s Life!” It was amazing! The students were such a great audience :) Mrs. Decottignies’ class did their felt art project…it was so cool! In the afternoon, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Yacyshyn’s classes had their felt art project. A big thank you to the morning and afternoon parent volunteers…we couldn’t have done it without you!!! Mrs. Decottignies class talked about oranges. Ask me how I can predict how many segments are in each orange… The classes also discussed the very cool insect facts that you have been bringing in! In the most recent newsletter there is a form attached to attend the Evergreen Spring Dance and food Trucks evening on Thursday June 23 from 5:30-7:30. If you would like to attend please send in the form so Parent Council is able to have an idea of the number of people planning to attend. We are continuing to look for some volunteers for our felt artist coming into the classrooms. The artist is asking for five volunteers for each class: Mrs Bridle will need 2 more volunteers for Friday the 17th Mrs Osadec will need 1 more volunteer for Friday the 17th PLEASE EMAIL YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER IF YOU ARE ABLE TO HELP OUT. You will still need to have your police clearance to work in the classroom. For the Mudless mudder we will also need volunteers to look after the Kindergarten centre. If you are willing to help out please let us know. Reminders: Spring BBQ June 23 Volunteer tea June 17th Keep some open time on June 16 for the Kindergarten assemblies. The morning assembly will be at 10:15 and the afternoon assembly at 2:00. Enjoy your evening! The Kinder Team
