Today in Kindergarten the morning classes continued their work on their final fairy tale. Two classes did a sequencing activity and another talked about beginning, middle and the end of the story. It is amazing how well they are remembering them. During centre time one of their choices is to make puppet shows and act out the story. They do a fantastic job of it.
In the afternoon we had gym-sic. Mrs. Decottignies class is practicing logging onto the computer. Mrs. Yacyshyn's class did some table top math centres and in Mrs. Smith's class talked about the letter Xx. Final call for Scholastic orders! Mrs. Bridle's book orders are due on the 8th. Some things to write down on your calendars! Student led conferences will be on April 21st and 22nd so please watch your e-mail for an invitation from the office to sign up. On Wednesday May 18th all of the kindergarten classes will be going on a full day field trip downtown. All students will arrive at the school for 8:00 attendance and the busses will leave at 9:00 for our day. Each class is required to have five volunteers. If you are interested and available to help out please make sure that you have your police clearance. If you are not sure if you have a police clearance please contact your child's teacher and they can check with the office. Since the field trip is a full day there will be NO classes for kindergarten the following day, Thursday May 19th. Have a good evening The K team
