We are asking that you send in a stick in with your child for Thursday.
Please label it with your child’s name. For this project, it is important that each child has a stick of their own (extras are welcome). Stick size is not important We will be inviting the students to see their stick in a new way. The size and type of stick does not matter! Just any stick that you can find in your backyard or on a walk through Fish Creek. They will be creating something WONDERful with their stick! Today in Kindergarten talked about the letter Rr. Some of the classes drew a rabbit and even made a car with paper. Scholastic orders due before the 19th. On the top right side of this page you will see a new heading that says home reading. We are trying to offer a variety of activities that will help your child with letter recognition, letter sounds and as well as beginning reading skills. If you click on the words you will be taken to a page that will have a nursery rhyme with some activities for you to do with your child. Please do not feel that this is a requirement, it an optional activity for you to do. This page will be updated weekly. Have a good evening, The K Team
