It was great meeting so many of you on Thursday and Friday. We hope that you learned more about what we are doing in the classroom and have a new understanding of Kindergarten.
All of classes did different things today. Mrs Decottignies morning class read Logann's favorite book and drew pictures about it. In the afternoon we wrote in our journal's about what we like to do when it is cold outside. We were trying to listen for the sounds we know to help us write down words. Mrs. Osadec's class wrote about what they did on the weekend in their journals. They too, are practicing listening for sounds when they are writing words. Mrs. Bridle 's class did a math question about how many hands and feet were in small groups. You would be surprised at how difficult of a task this can be! Mrs. Yacyshyn's and Mrs. Smith's class read the book "I wonder..." and shared the things that they were wondering about. Some of the things they are wondering about are dinosaurs, space, why letters make sounds, and lots of how many? questions. We are working on a bunch of different activities and over the next little bit will be asking if you can send in some items we will need. This week it is flyers. *A student from Mrs. Yacyshyn's class is missing a pair of black boots (size 12 or 1) and a pair of size 11 are here at the school. If you could check if these boots (they are labelled with the student's name) are at your house that would be great! Thank you! Have a great evening :) The K Team
