Today in Kindergarten talked about the importance of pink shirt day. Many of the classes made promises of things they will do such as I promise to share my toys, I promise to be kind, and I promise to make sure all my friends are playing with someone.
The morning group had gym-sic and the afternoon group had gym. Thank you so much for sending in your family photos we have so many now. (We are asking that you send in a 4x6 family picture that is one you do NOT need back. We will be doing a project with them.) We have talked to some of the children and asked them to talk to you about their full names, beginning, middle and last. We are also interested in why they have the names they do. If you could take some time to talk to your child (and write it down) about their name that would be great! Some students had an interest in reading online stories at home. Here is a kid-safe website that has a couple pages of great stories for you and your child to watch – some of you might even own the hard copy of the book! http://www.barnesandnoble.com/nook-blog/category/online-storytime/ Enjoy your evening! Winter has returned… The K Team J
