Screenagers| Growing up in the Digital Age (70min) Presented by Evergreen School Council at 6:30pm March 16th Are you watching kids scroll through life, with their rapid-fire thumbs and a sixsecond attention span? Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston saw that with her own kids and learned that the average kid spends 6.5 hours a day looking at screens. She wondered about the impact of all this time and about the friction occurring in homes and schools around negotiating screen time—friction she knew all too well. The Kindergarten classes will have the chance to show you what they have learned in two special assemblies. The afternoon group will share March 16th from 1:10-1:30, please arrive by 1:05. The morning group will share with the rest of the classes March 17th at 10:00, please arrive by 9:55. We are looking forward to sharing with you. Letter Rings: We just wanted to remind those students that were sent a letter ring home to continue practicing those letters and their corresponding sounds. Once they know all the letters and sounds please send the ring back so that we can give them new letters to learn. We are starting a new project this week and we need your help again! We are looking for some materials to build something (we can’t tell you what yet!). We would appreciate it if you had any of the following that you could send in with your child tomorrow:
